MTG smokes the election-denying new leader of the Democrats

MAGA Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of the fiery younger conservatives who make up the unofficial America First faction in the GOP, went to town about the Democrats’ new election-denying leader, Hakeem Jeffries.

Jeffries, who denies elections, was chosen by his party to replace longtime party chief Nancy Pelosi after the Democrats lost the House of Representatives in the 2022 midterm elections.

Jeffries is an election denier and an unabashed conspiracy theorist who believes Russia installed Donald Trump as president.

So with a background like that, Greene thought it was kind of funny that Jeffries, in an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopouloscondemned her as “extreme”.

Did I mention Jeffries is an election denier?

Election denier Jeffries chose the wrong fight

Jeffries’ full quote on ABC, in the context of what the GOP would do with the upcoming Speaker election, was:

“The question on the other side of the aisle is what will the Republicans do? Are they going to double and triple the extremism we’ve seen from the likes of Marjorie Taylor Greene? That would be a shame, and if that happens, there are no really meaningful opportunities to work together.”

As readers may have guessed, conspiracy theorists who deny the election, like Jeffries, are probably far more extreme than mainstream conservatives. (It’s right in the name: conservative.)

However, not all conservatives are not created equal. Greene, (MTG), does not allow the opposition to control the narrative, as many conservatives do.

She shot back:

And she’s right. In addition to the election denial and conspiracy theories, Jeffries also holds extreme views. He is also an election denier.

Jeffries’ extreme views

Jeffries has a rating of 100% with NARAL Pro-Choice America, as MTG alluded to in her response.

In addition, he is an election denier and conspiracy theorist.

In addition to voting for the seemingly endless billions to the corrupt regime in Ukraine, Jeffries went even further by one No-fly zone enforced by NATO over Ukraine.

In other words, direct battle with Russia and WWIII.

As for MTG’s comments about the border, this author could not find a single instance of Jeffries acknowledging the reality of the situation and offering ideas to close the border.

In fact, it seems rather the opposite:

Eagle-eyed readers might notice that the tweet is from 2019 — when Donald Trump was president. Since Biden became president, border crossings have increased dramatically.

In 2018, Jeffries called President Trump request for a paltry $5 billion for a border wall ‘a ransom note’.

$5 billion is too much for our border, but $60+ billion for the Ukrainian border is not enough? That is indeed extreme.

Plus, lest anyone ever forget, Jeffries is an election denier and conspiracy theorist.

Well done, Democrats!
